Desmodium canadense

Erect, bushy, plant with crowded, elongated clusters of pink or rose-purple pea-like flowers. Seedpods cling to animal fur or clothing, assisting the plant’s spread.

–  3 to 5 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide
–  Full sun to part shade
–  Blooms summer
–  Needs consistent but not excessive watering
–  Grows in clumps with bushy habit. Spreads through seed dispersal. Can be aggressive in moist and sunny locations.
